Interesting Fact
Located between the sea and the Thau Lagoon, Château du Donjon is located about 10 kilometres northeast of Carcassonne in the heart of Bagnoles. It was once the property of the monks of the abbey of Caunes-Minervois and was used as an outpost. It takes its name from the ancient castle at Bagnoles. The estate has been in the PANIS-MIALHE family since the 15th century, and still has its picturesque 13th century donjon.

Cuvee La Favorite
Details
Producer: Chateau Fredignac
Region: Bordeaux, France
Grapes: Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc
Tasting Notes
A fruity, juicy wine with swathes of black currant and berry flavors. The depth and complexity from ancient vines shows itself in the length of the finish and the smoky, spicy characteristics. The youthful touch shows itself in that the fruits are fresh and pronounced, and not stewed or overripe like some Bordeauxs. This is the wine to drink to convince a friend that Bordeaux can be approachable, or maybe the bottle to finally sway you!
