Ruth and Ana, the two De Andres sisters, are polar opposites. Ruth is the winemaker. She studied chemistry and enology in Spain, while Ana is the project manager who runs the day to day operations.

Earthy vanilla and ripe blackberry and plum are framed by cigar box like space and sweet hints of toffee and nutmeg. At almost a decade old, this true Reserva wine drinks with complexity and grace.

Interesting Fact
With the 1965 harvest, the Estola brand was launched, the flagship of the winery and the first Reserve wine in La Mancha, which very soon would attract the attention of the specialist critics and personalities. FYI: a Gran Reserva has been aged for at least 5 years, with at least 18 months in oak.

A crisp and mineral nose with jasmine, slate and white grapefruit. The palate is fresh and fruity with asian pear, white peach and underripe melon. A little almond paste and lime zest on the crisp, snappy finish.

Pecan pralines are a lovely match for this wine pairing well with the almond notes in the wine. The sweetness of the candy will also complement the peach and lemon flavors in the wine.
